Green Peas Rolls
Ingredients :-
- Potato 500 gm
- Green Peas 125 gm
- Coconut powder 1/4 cup
- Finely Chopped coriander 1/2 cup
- Chili powder 1/2 tea spoon
- Green chili 2 pieces
- Sugar 2 tea spoon
- Lemon juice 1/2 tea spoon
- Arrowroot 6 tea spoon
- Semolina 12 tea spoon
- Salt as per taste
- Refined oil
Cooking method
Boil the potatoes and then make a smooth mash of it after peeling off the skin. Add the arrowroot and mix.
Now, make a paste of the green peas. Do not use grinder, you can use some masher for best result. Hit 6 tea spoon oil in a frying pan and add the paste of peas. Now add all the ingredients listed above except semolina. Saute for a few minutes and switch off the flame.
Add a little amount of salt with the potato mash and cut small sized balls of it. Place some cooked peas in the center of the potato ball and then give it the shape of a roll. Spread the semolina on a piece of clean paper and rub the potato rolls over it nicely. Fry the rolls in hot oil for just a few minutes and serve.
Ingredients :-
- Boiled potato mash 500 gm
- Boiled eggs 6 nos.
- Grated Cheese 1/2 cup
- Finely chopped green chili 2 pcs
- Chopped coriander 1/2 cup
- Finely chopped onion 1 medium size
- Bread slice 2 pcs soaked in water
- Raw egg 1
- Biscuit powder for coating
- Oil as per requirement
Cooking method
Grate the boiled eggs with a knife. Mix onion, green chili, coriander and cheese with the boiled potatoes. Add salt as per taste. Take out the soaked bread slices and squeeze out the water completely. Mix these bread well with the potato mixture. Now cut into balls of equal sizes. Beat the raw egg on a plate. Now put the rolls on this beaten egg and then roll over the biscuit powder. Now fry the rolls in hot oil.
Coconut Kachori Recipe
Ingredients :-
- Grated coconut half part
- Grated cashew 5 tea spoons
- Raisin 10-15 pcs
- Chopped coriander 3 tea spoons
- Grated green chili 5 pcs
- Ginger paste 1 tea spoon
- Sugar 2 tea spoon
- Lemon juice 1 tea spoon
- Salt as per taste
- Boiled potato mash 500 gm
- Ginger paste 1 tea spoon
- Green chili paste 5 pcs
- Arrowroot 6 tea spoons
- Oil as per requirement
Cooking method
Take the grated coconut and mix all the ingredients listed above for preparation of the filling.
Now mix the ingredients of Kachori together and add salt as per taste. Now cut into shapes of your choice and put the filling in the center as much as possible. Seal the kachori well to prevent the filling fall outside. Now, moderate fry in hot oil till the Kachoris become light brown.
Nepali Aloo Dum Recipe
Ingredients :-
- Small sized round potatoes 500 gm
- Tomato 250 gm
- Mustard oil 1/2 cup
- Black cumin 2 tea spoons
- Chopped coriander 6 tea spoons
- Red Chili powder 1 tea spoon
- Salt and Turmeric as per taste
Cooking method
Boil the potatoes and peel off the skins. Cut the tomatoes in 4 pieces each. Now fry the black cumin in hot oil for just a minute and then add the tomatos, salt, turmeric and chili powder. Fry till the tomatos are completely cooked. Add the potatoes and fry for a few minutes. Switch off the flame and sprinkle the coriander leaves. Serve with hot roti.
Spanish Omelette Recipe
Ingredients :-
- Egg 4 pcs
- Medium sized onion 1 pc
- Big size potato 1 pc
- Big size tomato 1 pc
- Small sized capsicum 1 pc
- Normal water 3 tea spoons
- Salt and black pepper powder as per taste
- Oil 6 tea spoons
Method of cooking
Fine chop the onion and the capsicum. Boil the potato and cut into small pieces after peeling off the skin. Put the tomato in hot water for few minutes and then peel off the skin and remove the seeds. Now fine chop the tomato. Add the 3 tea spoons water with the eggs and beat well. Also add salt and black pepper with the eggs. Now heat oil on a heavy bottom frying pan. Shallow fry the potatoes along with the onions and then add tomato and capsicum. Saute for a few minutes. Now pour in the beaten eggs over the fried vegetables and fry till the fluid is evaporated. Serve hot with sauce.
