International Online Chess Tournament

Assam is going to witness the biggest ever International Online Chess Tournament originating from it's soil. 

The tournament has been envisaged by Good Knight Chess Club after meticulous planning and is fully sponsored by the good people of Assam.

This online event will take place on 15th May 2020 at IST 07:00 PM in a beautiful name and style of  Clash of the 100 Knights. Still 24 hours left, a massive number of 652 players from countries throughout the world have registered and is still counting.

Till now 34 titled players have joined which includes 2 Grand Masters, 14 International Masters, 12 Fide Masters, 2 Women Fide Masters and 3 Candidate Masters etc.

The entire Assam Chess fraternity is in a state of euphoria and has been working hard for success of this event and to make it a memorable one. Taking part into this international event is fairly easy as the process is fully automated.

Interested chess players will require an user id in lichess.org and then they will have to register themselves by submitting a JOIN TEAM request in the lichess team of Good Knight Chess Club and after that they can join the TOURNAMENT.

The organizers also have incorporated a Robot reply feature in WhatsApp which enables the players to receive links to the tournament by sending the keyword LINK15 to +919706268211. It's a privilege that amongst many strong players GM Carlos Daniel, Cuba a renowned chess grandmaster is playing this big tournament.

Zilla Parishad floats open tender for parking place in Tinsukia, Assam

Sushant's death case grows darker, tough challenges for the CBI

Demand of CBI probe into the questionable death of Sushant Singh Rajput is increasing day after day. Central Government has already allowed CBI to investigate the FIR filed by the Patna police.
